In 2006, on the second floor of an historic building in Jerusalem’s heart, a new Bistro opened its doors. We named it Zuni. Zuni is a Bistro, Cafe and Bar, but actually it’s life itself. Sometimes, people come by to celebrate birthdays or to propose. Others just pop in for a cup of coffee or Vegetable Curry stew. There are those that want to arrange a business lunch or late night dinner. Some can’t get through a weekend without consuming a Spinach, Zucchini and Parmesan omelette, or treat their sore throat with a cup of tea with lemon by the window.

When you leave Zuni, you feel well. That’s what we’re about.

Along the banks of a modestly sized river in New Mexico, lives a native American tribe called the Zuni.
A long time ago, we visited with them. The wonderful memories they gifted us did not fade with the years. In fact, they stood out brightly among the many we collected throughout our lives.

When we decided to open a restaurant, we immediately knew what we were going to name it. That’s how a Frenchesque restaurant called Zuni came to be, some 12,000 miles east of its namesake.

We’ve been calling Zuni home since 2006. We’d like our guests to share that feeling. Making you feel at home is what we think about sipping our morning coffee. Making the food a little more delicious. Making the space a little cosier. Making you a little happier.

Making people happy isn’t easy. We can’t do it alone. We need you, to welcome guests with a smile, to take an order, to set the tables, to serve the the dishes, to offer dessert. Vegetables need to be cut, pots and pans need be taken on and off the flames, dishes need to be washed.

Zuni constantly needs workers. Cooks, waiters and waitresses, hosts and hostesses. If you’re up for it, contact us and become part of a team that enjoys its work.
